He made a very successful appearance at the showcase festival MENT 2017 in Ljubljana; prior to this he performed at the famous festival Eurosonic Noorderslag 2017 in Groningen, the Netherlands in January of the same year. Jakob also made the EBBC – European Border Breakers Chart – that ranks the most promising young European musicians, all while his single Cloudless Skies made the 2017 most played chart of the radio station Val 202. Jakob’s biggest influences that inspired his musical endeavours the most include Ben Howard, Pink Floyd, Matt Costa and others.
