Nova Gorica’s own Avtomobili are one of the bands that left a deep mark on the Slovenian music scene and could easily be labelled as legends. The band are known as one of the most prolific, original, and recognizable rock bands in Slovenia. Their rich, nearly four decades-long music career saw them string together a staggering ten studio albums, which are home to a hefty stack of great hits that still sound amazingly fresh and timeless even today: Argentina, Ona nosi uniformu, Skozi leta, V mrzlih dvoranah, Pot domov, Hvala za pisma, Ljubezen ne stanuje tu, Enakonočje, Sama, Gospodar, and many, many more. Avtomobili are more than just music; they are a state of mind and a way of life, joy and tears, the past and the future. Their untrendy directness never stops gaining popularity even among the younger fanbase, which shows that the fairy tale about Avtomobili will not be coming to an end any time soon.

Wiyaala’s concerts are well-known for exuding a positive life energy that always excites the audience and fills them with love. Her distinguishing sign are colourful and skilfully crafted costumes that she creates herself.

Wiyaala built an art centre, a guest house, and a restaurant in her village, where she stages festivals and events that bring her community together and encourage the local children to create and thereby grow their confidence.
